Jesse Blevins, Assoc. AIA, LEED GA
Architectural Graduate ,
Jesse is an integral part of Design Collaborative’s team. He chose his career out of an interest in the design of living, working, and playing spaces. However, it was his work behind the scenes that truly captured his heart. As a member of the disability community, Jesse is a strong advocate for accessibility in architecture. He encourages everyone to think beyond the basics and consider all types of disabilities and circumstances that could make a space challenging for the end user.
Jesse’s passion extends into his hobbies, where he is deeply involved in woodworking and contributing to Habitat for Humanity builds. These activities lend a unique perspective to his role at Design Collaborative, reminding him that design is not just about aesthetics, but also about functionality and buildability. Through his hobbies, he gains first-hand experience of the considerations and challenges of the construction process, insights that he brings back to his role, ensuring that his designs are not only beautiful but also truly accessible and buildable.
