Originally built in 1964, the church lacked insulation in its exterior walls due to standard building practices of the time.Over the years, this resulted in visible lines on the drywall, marking the location of each stud. To resolve this, a vapor barrier will be installed to prevent further moisture-related issues and ensure a more durable interior. In addition to these necessary improvements, the pastor and building committee sought to enrich the church’s interior and renovate the sanctuary to improve functionality. The renovation includes new sanctuary furnishings, wainscoting along the walls, and a custom decorative stencil inspired by the writings of St. Robert Bellarmine, the parish’s patron saint. The existing worn red carpet will be replaced with elegant terrazzo flooring, and new pendant lighting will provide improved illumination, creating a warm and inviting worship environment. |
