Project Attributes

,

As only the second industrialized MRI unit in the state of Ohio—and the first for OhioHealth—this project set a new precedent.

DC guided the hospital through the complex process of adapting the existing facility to receive the MRI cassette, including constructing a new foundation and roof tie-ins, removing portions of the exterior envelope, and reconfiguring interior spaces to create a clear, intuitive corridor connection.

Staff areas, lab space, and imaging reading rooms were carefully adjusted to support efficient workflows and continuity of care. Working through evolving codes and a challenging approval process, the team delivered a cost-effective, high-performance solution that expands access and elevates the patient experience.
