Parkview Physician’s Group (PPG) is excited to debut their newest location at the Electric Works campus. As with their multiple Fort Wayne sites, spread across numerous neighborhoods, their latest clinic opening this Fall will be yet another destination for families to access physicians, healthcare services and wellness opportunities.

Nestled into the Electric Works campus, this particular clinic uniquely reflects the historic building chosen as the PPG site. During its’ construction, Heritage Consulting Group worked with Design Collaborative architects and engineers to guide the interior spaces how best to adopt the historic significance of the campus. One example that patients will be able to see and touch is the exposed original masonry brick featured in the waiting lobby areas. Parkview providers will still see patients in a common clinical exam room, but the corridor areas and waiting room will have an open view up to the building’s original second-story windows, reminiscent of the original industrial “warehouse” function of the campus decades ago. In lieu of traditional floor carpeting or luxury vinyl tile, to highlight a more raw, industrial aesthetic, the clinic will have a polished concrete floor throughout. |

Services provided at this PPG location will be familiar and consistent for Parkview patients: traditional exam rooms will offer both urgent care and family medicine services. Visitors will be welcomed and checked in at the Parkview concierge desks, and have access to urgent care physicians, family medicine, and other support services, including a retail pharmacy, lab work, x-ray, and general consult rooms for private healthcare plan discussion. |
As standard in all new Parkview Physicians Group clinics, patients will find the familiar dual-sided exam rooms, helping the staff serve guests as efficiently as possible and reducing wait times. The care team areas will be open to the clerestory windows overhead, allowing natural light down into the staff workspaces. Somewhat rare for healthcare staff in typical clinical facilities, this exposure to outside light is a pleasant “bonus” to their workspace. |
