Quincy wanted its newscasters to have the ability to broadcast breaking news from their desks.
A larger studio was created for WPTA-TV, with an adjacent smaller studio for WISE-TV.A new green room, sports room, and waiting room were added. Each is connected by the open newsroom in the center of the space. Quincy wanted its newscasters to have the ability to broadcast breaking news from their desks. In the event of breaking news, WPTA-TV can film its anchors live at their desks with the buzzing newsroom as the background. The exterior was transformed with a clean, updated look. The building is decorated with colors from the news stations’ logoes and branding. |
