Memorial Park Middle School needed an interior face lift. Design Collaborative created several project phases to organize construction so that students could continue to use the building year round.

Built in 1965, Memorial Park Middle School was in desperate need of updating its systems and interiors.
Because construction would take place during the school year, designing an effective phasing plan that would allow minimal disruption was the biggest project challenge.
Design Collaborative’s response included renovating three classrooms at a time during evening hours. Updates to the MEP systems, adding AC and spray foam insulation, and updating finishes and furniture that promoted creativity and collaboration were all important aspects of this project.
