Highlighted in Education Snapshots!Hillsdale College was in need of a new residence hall with updated features and an emphasis on community.
Design Collaborative created a 54 bed dormitory using a pod design.Each floor consists of individual living spaces for 18 students as well as a shared bathroom and laundry facility. In addition to this, there is a flex space on the main floor used as a lobby and event space on university game days. Outside the residence hall houses an outdoor fireplace and pergola. Hillsdale students enjoyed this residence hall so much, Design Collaborative is currently designing two additional residence halls. |
