Project Attributes

Emmanuel Lutheran Church has a long-standing relationship with Design Collaborative through a building assessment preformed in 2005 and a church addition in 2011.

The original scope of this project focused on restoring the church sanctuary, but Design Collaborative recommended expanding the project to include restoring the exterior to protect the work completed on the interior.

In order to restore historical elements of the sanctuary, Design Collaborative coordinated interior design work, a national historic restoration firm Conrad Schmitt Studio, lighting replacement, stained glass widow restoration, and much more. Design Collaborative used cooper and slate roofing to replace the roof and restored the exterior with brick and stone masonry.
