Adrian College – Merillat Sport & Fitness Center

Adrian College’s student body was growing, and they were in need of a dynamic expansion to their fitness and athletic spaces. The new 17,200-sf facility was designed to completely integrate with the surrounding buildings. Students are able to feel a fresh, vibrant energy through the use of color, a transparent dividing wall between the cardio and free weight spaces, and even from the use of industrial-sized fans, which were able to help improve the air circulation and comfort throughout the space while keeping energy costs down.

It was a great experience working with Design Collaborative, from conceptual design to project completion. They got things done right the first time, so their meticulous approach allowed for a smooth renovation. I would expect Adrian College to use Design Collaborative again in the future.
