Congratulations to Jessica Rossow on her National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) achievement!

We are so proud of Interior Designer Jessica Rossow on her recent accomplishment of acquiring her National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ). This certification is recognized in the industry as a signal that the certification holder understands the codes in place to protect public health, safety, and welfare, they are a highly qualified individual, and they are able to meet industry standards. Each of these categories are sections on the NCIDQ Exam. To earn this certification, interior designers apply to take the NCIDQ Exam and wait for approval. After the designer is approved, they schedule and take the three sections of the exam. Congratulations Jessica on your accomplishment!

Welcome to the team, Taylor!

Meet Taylor, our newest architectural intern!

Q: What college or university did you attend?

A: I attend Woodbury University, located in Burbank, California. Since Covid began, March 2020, I have attended school virtually.

Q: What is your major?

A: I am in my final year of a 5-year Bachelor of Architecture. I graduate May 2022!

Q: Where are you from?

A: I am from Granger, Indiana and recently moved back after spending 7 years in Los Angeles.

Q: Why do you love architecture?

A: I love architecture because I get to use both sides of my brain. I have been artistically inclined since childhood, but I enjoy the structure (pun intended!) that architecture gives to my creative mind.

Q: What made you choose DC?

A: I chose DC because of the impact they have on the community. I want to use design as a way to positively influence lives and I feel like I can achieve that with DC.
