Architecture, Interior Design, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Plumbing Design,Inspired by the pastor’s vision of creating a semblance of the “invisible realities of heaven,” the sanctuary was transformed to a sanctified area for daily and weekend services and the school children of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School.
Aesthetic updates such as new carpet, updated structures, and added natural and artificial light accomplished a completed design focused on creating an ambiance that nurtures personal reflection and prayer, fortifying the relationship with God and promoting community bonds.Marble was the dominating material used throughout the space; Calacatta Gold and Giallo Reale were used for the altarpieces, as well as marble tile flooring in the sanctuary, paired with terrazzo, and the colorful depth of stained glass windows. These elements played a vital role in establishing the space as a Catholic church and bringing forth the concept of a spiritual retreat. Many users have expressed admiration for the renovation, describing the result as “beautiful” and “like heaven.” |
