New Covenant Impact Center’s 13,200 SF space serves as a beacon of light to its surrounding community. Transparency in services offered and in the architecture itself, welcome in the nearby residents.
The center offers a plethora of services, such as mental health counseling, ESL courses, a free café, parental and prenatal care education, and Restore and Renew programming to help mentor previously incarcerated individuals. The transparent façade represents the openness of the church to all and can even open to a new patio space.
New meeting rooms, classrooms, daycare services, and an oversized community area were top features to consider for the new space. Hosting community stakeholder meetings and providing extensive education services bolster the community’s access to services. A safe and welcoming daycare provides local families with a support system and more opportunities.
