University of Notre Dame – Nieuwland Hall of Science
Notre Dame, Indiana
The University of Notre Dame (UND) and Design Collaborative worked together to create a space for the science department at the university. UND needed a space with more room for collaboration, as well as additional laboratories. The Nieuwland Hall of Science is the long-time home of the Department of Physics and the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, and it’s now the new home of the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering.
