Architecture, Interior Design, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Lighting Design,Design Collaborative was tasked with renovating of a former worship center while preserving its integrity to become the university’s performing arts center.
Formerly used as a worship center, Trine University wanted to convert this historic building into a performing arts center, including a large auditorium and several music program classrooms.The design team maintained and preserved the historic character of the building while bringing it up to today’s standards. The original detail of the interior – including marble flooring, painted columns, and a ceiling fresco – was restored. |
