Directing the hustle and clamor behind the scenes becomes live and on the air within an open broadcasting and office environment.

Quincy Broadcasting’s renovation of their WSIL-TV station brought new life to the newsroom, created long needed collaboration spaces for all staff to use, and organized and modernized the engineering department as well.

The project was phase I of a renovation project charged with “bringing the office together” and attracting and retaining talent. Along with its central, branded “garage” conference space and camera-ready news director’s hub, the project also included a new breakroom/restroom addition that doubles as the station’s storm shelter.

Knowing its people are at the heart of WSIL’s success, their ability to deliver the news to viewers efficiently and accurately was made easier, more enjoyable, and safer.
